>Monday 16th January.
Mark van der Eynden from 4D Systems spoke about the intelligent display modules produced by 4D Systems, and discussed his experience creating development environments used for these devices.
He showed us several of the display modules, which were colour, LCD or OLED, and ranged from 1.44 inches to 7 inches. They are programmable, contain flash drives, and have a limited amount of memory. He has created development environments to create software for the display modules, and has been able to adapt a number of third party Delphi controls to work on these devices.
The meeting was held at the Melbourne Men’s Shed, situated in the Federation Square Car Park off the Russell St Extension.
