Melbourne Meeting – December 2016

Monday 19th December.

John McDonald discussed code reviews. He discussed the purposes and benefits of code reviews, and how you might do them. He then showed some examples of what you might find in a code review. This led to some interesting discussions of the pros & cons of code reviews, test driven development and other coding paradigms, and debate about the relative clarity of various styles of coding.

Then John and Geoffrey Smith demonstrated some of the capabilities of FixInsight and PascalAnalyzer.

And as it was our Christmas meeting, we had finger food and mince pies.

The meeting was held at the Melbourne Men’s Shed, situated in the Federation Square Car Park off the Russell St Extension.
