Delphi's usage in the German banking industry

    Mathias Burbach - Maranatha Consulting

After the AGM Mathias will go through some case studies of Delphi's usage in the German banking industry. We will discuss why Delphi is crucial for a small private bank that still has resisted the idea of outsourcing the software development. We shall look at tasks where Delphi was in use but is no longer as well as where Delphi is still considered the best tool to build applications for an Oracle back-end. What are the other development tools in use and why large parts of the business logic are implemented in PL/SQL on Oracle.
