Applying DUnit to their own code:
Attentative attendees

We thank Arena Business Technology for their generous donation of two Plantronics Headsets. These were won by Irina and Tatiana.

Join us for a full-day hands-on workshop on automated unit testing with DUnit by Mathias Burbach.

Whether you are already a unit testing disciple and just need to 'bone-up' on DUnit, or don't even know what 'unit testing' means, this workshop will help you produce more robust code.

After a short introduction to DUnit and unit testing, we will give you a hand to install DUnit on your machine. Finally we will help you to apply automated unit testing to your current software project.

Please bring your notebook with you!

Your registration fee includes lunch and all day tea, coffee & nibbles.

Register for the Workshop Members - NON-members

The Venue:

Adelaide South West Community Centre
171 Sturt Street (corner Logan Street)
Adelaide (CBD)

The Community Centre is 100m west of Whitmore Square. (For the electronics buff it's across the road from Aztronics.) No off-street parking, but free street parking is available - beware of 'resident parking only' zones. Bus stop 25 on routes 210, 216 is about 50m away.

Programme:

08:45-09:00 Registration
09:00-10:00 Introduction to DUnit
10:00-12:00 Apply DUnit to your software projects
12:00-13:00 Lunch break
13:00-16:00 Apply DUnit to your software projects

Requirements:

As this is a 'hands on' workshop, it is highly desirable that you bring your own notebook with Delphi installed (preferably no older than D7). You will get the most out of the workshop if you bring your own Delphi project you wish to apply DUnit to. At the end of the workshop we would like participants to share the outcome and show any hurdles they have, or need to, overcome - therefore willingness to show some source code would be appreciated.

Your Workshop Leader:
