ECO2 Workshop

Join us for a full-day hands-on workshop on Enterprise Core Objects version 2 (ECO2). We will have a brief discussion on the key elements of ECO and how they interact. After that we will create a time sheet logging application that will walk everyone through how to use the various features of ECO to create a working application. By the end of the day attendees should have enough understanding of ECO to continue to develop applications and to see how ECO could simplify your software development process. Please bring your own notebook. Powerboards and extension cords will be provided as a courtesy by Arena Business Technology.
The boardroom at Borland's office can only cater for up to 20 participants. We will close registration as soon as 20 people have registered. Please make sure you have the Architect version of Delphi 2005 installed on your notebook. You can download the trial version for free from here. In case you don't have a broadband connection we will have some trial CDs for you at the next Sydney meeting and before the workshop starts.

Register here.

Speaker

Dick Walker
Dick discovered software development while working in retail and became a full time FoxPro programmer in 1995 working on point of sale systems for retailers. Dick started tinkering with Delphi 2 and by Delphi 5 was using Delphi as his primary development tool. In 2004 Dick setup Granite Solutions to focus on creating custom business applications, in particular a Ski Hire application and also saw the completion of a Bachelor of Information Technology degree through Charles Sturt University. The Ski Hire application was created using ECO 2 and is one of the first commercial ECO applications to go on sale.
