Our usual venue the John Scott Meeting House was flooded at Christmas and repairs are not yet complete.

The Institute For Advanced Study Seminar Hall is not quite as palatial however the support and catering team are the same.

Parking is available via CarPark 8 (the one after the one used for John Scott) refer to map.

Enter via the Waterdale Road entrance to the University, turn right at the first roundabout and follow the Ring Road around till you reach Car Park 8.

Parking Fees Apply ($5.00) and 50c coins are not accepted)

In addition to the car parks shown on the map, there is another car park in the area next to the Latrobe House Apartments.

The venue has enough parking spaces to accommodate most of the attendees. This parking is free. So, if  you feel lucky, try the parking areas next to the venue. If these are full, head for Car Park 8 where the fee is $5 per day. The parking machine takes $2, 1$, 20c and 10c coins.

Canberra Venue

Clifton Suites on Northbourne, 100 Northbourne Ave, Civic

Clifton Suites on Northbourne is relatively new  and is conveniently located on Northbourne Avenue within walking distance of Braddon shops and restaurants, and the city centre, Civic.

Attendees driving to Canberra can park under the building free of charge.  Proceed to the second boom gate and use the intercom to let Reception know you are attending the symposium, and they will let you into the carpark.

Attendees wishing to stay in Canberra are offered a corporate rate negotiated for the event.  

The special rates apply for attendees to the Symposium in Canberra.  Those wishing to book on these rates need to contact reservations and quote ADUGM for the reference.
